Well this waiting is getting to me already and I don't even have dossier part 2 submitted yet so I have a lot more to wait out yet.
The only document I have left to get is the FBI clearance. I sent it on Oct. 23rd and requested to have it by Nov. 9th. That came and went so I called them on the 1oth and they kindly told me to try again next week. So I immediately called this morning. Again I got a very nice person on the phone who told me it is in proces and I explained the urgency she just said, "well you can try sending an email and here is the address" so I quickly followed her advice. Do you think it will work?
Since the beginning I knew this wait was part of the process and most of the time I handle it okay but the evenings are hard. I look at her pictures and I just want so much more than that. I have only had one night of crying so I'm still holding up okay but I sure wish she were here.

You are right the waiting is the worst. Hang in there. Have you done her Christmas shopping yet? I hope she will be home with you before then but if not celebrate later. Nothing like a little retail therapy.
Mary, the email may help if you specified that it is for international adoption. I remember when I sent away for FBI clearance for Kaz, I was told to write, "Please expedite: International Adoption" (or something like that) on the outside of the envelope. I got my clearance back very quickly. Good luck!
My heart goes out to you right now - this part is so hard. How sweet it will be to have her in your arms again!! HUGS!
This part sucks, doesn't it.... yet quite less sucky than waiting in lines you've been in before. :) I hope it all flies by for you quickly. Holidays are usually a whirlwind so that's a blessing.
You'll be happy to know that I have actually gotten a response after emailing the FBI. Good luck with lighting a fire under them though!

Oh Mary... my heart totally goes out to you!! I totally understand what your going through!! I think this part is the worst ... we need to meet up for coffee! Page me next week when you are free. I should have a light day on Tuesday & Thursday next week. We are in the O.R. ... call me!!
